this is so perfect... you are a wonderful artist
1. I only came here because someone posted these on reddit, featuring your new syndra drawing. I didn't know bout them. I'm so happy I went on reddit today to see these.
2. When I first saw these, I thought that they were a mixture of digital drawings and photomanipulation. BUT HELL-I-WAS-WRONG. OMG. You are amazing. I seriously thought that these were photoshopped photos to look at the champions when I was looking at the finished versions. I had to look at THESE - your 'steps' of how you made them - for me to be convinced. JUST DAMN. These are amazing.
I wish I could create as realistically as you do. How long does it take you to make these? How long have you worked in photoshop? Do you use custom brushes for the skin textures? What bout the lace (specifically for caitlyn...)?
They are beautiful and I hope that at least one of these gets a DailyDeviant award.
That is one of the reasons I upload steps here. While I don't have anything against photomanipulation, its not my thing and I want ppl to know that everything here is painted from blank canvas
It takes me from 20h to 50h to finish one piece. My Syndra took 30h to finish. I've been working in photoshop since 2002, but Ive started with digital painting about 2009, you can see my improvement meme here:Yes, I use custom brushes for skin texture, and sometimes I slap low opacity texture of sand, it helps a lot to get to that realistic skin look You can find brushes that I use here: sta.sh/01vcc6513vis and preview of them here: sta.sh/03lkkv0qic2 I used pen tool to make a small pattern, made custom brush out of it, and combined several different layer overlays to get lace to look like that
Thank you very much, I'm glad you like my work. Haha, that would be nice, but there are a lot of artists here who deserve DD more than me Besides, my last one was a couple of months ago But thanks anyway
Its just... beautiful....
Thank you for the WIP. I love these in general, but its great to see them with a piece I like so much.
I really like this one! It reminds me of young Elizabeth Hurley.
Always good to get to see these steps, nicely done
Beautiful work! How many layers do you use?
The step by step is great, love the colors!!!
Man, I'd consider myself done by step eight! Nice to see the process ^^.
